MUST HAVE EVERYTHING OUT BY THIS WEEKEND. ALSO, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP - IT'S ALWAYS APPRECIATED! Thank you!!
This is great news for New Jersey and those so in need of help. Addiction should be treated as a medical issue and finally New Jersey is moving in that direction. Let's contact all the local hospitals and encourage them to participate voluntarily. Hopefully no one will need to die that is seeking treatment! Thank you Governor Christie.
The legislation I delivered will be the most aggressive law in the country, providing access to addiction care.
If you can help. Music reaches the spirit and can save someone's life!
I am just trying to keep a kid alive with music until Recovery reaches in and grabs them by the heart and soul
This is why we do what we do!!
I wish you could come with me to the Treatment Facilities when I lead my groups….
See the faces of the patients…scared…desperate…tired…sick…ready for a change.
And watch the change as i play the tunes that will be on this CD…
I had a kid write me that he was going to leave treatment but after hearing the lyrics he made the choice to stay.
Here are two of many messages I have received from patients….
Hi, my name is Frank M. I saw you perform your recovery songs at Turning Point in Paterson NJ in mid August around Aug 17th. I was the guy in the front row of chairs with a Pink Floyd Dark Side of The Moon long sleeve shirt on with tears rolling down my face as you were playing. I wanted to Thank You for touching me in a way I honestly have never felt before at a live show. I don’t even know what came over me, it was like The Holy Spirit was in the room or something of that nature.
**Wanted to say thank you for coming to turning point in November right before thanksgiving it was truly inspirational and gave me alot of great wisdom man, you’re truly a great man doing awesome things by spreading the word, thank you. Roy L.
These kids might be from your family or a friends family…
This drug epidemic is a life and death fight.
50,000 overdose deaths last year…mostly between 18-27 years old.
We are just trying to help in our small way..!!!
With Music as a touchstone to change.
We have many cool donation perks in this campaign, but at the very least you can buy an advance copy of CD for $25
We will record it as soon as we reach our goal and it will be ready by beginning of April.
I know the world feels like it’s coming apart at the seams.
We feel like we have little or no control over what’s going on.
A good way to feel part of the solution and get through the day to day is by helping someone else.
Simple..that’s all we are trying to do…so take a look and try and kick in.
You already know it will be a cool RnR Cd and the message will be clear and hopeful!!
Carry on :)
